Are those hair-dye mousse thingies any good?

I've used the John Frieda one but it didn't cover my grey at all.
I'm sick of the drippy ones after a messy garbled nutrisse incident.
Is the nice and easy one or the l'oreal one any good?
Do they cover stubborn greys?

TIA :)

I was going to say I've tried the John Frieda and the Nice and Easy, and much preferred the John Frieda - covered the (lots of) grey much better for me. But that might not be terribly helpful Grin. I did find that the JF came out darker than it looked, and the Nice and Easy came out lighter - I have slightly orangey roots now Hmm.

Oddly, I tried the John Friedan one on BH Monday, and although it covered most of my grey, I didn't get the colour I wanted. Won't get that brand again, but will try others in time.

I have really short hair so the non-drippy is essential if I'm not gonna get stained ears, scalp, etc cause there's no long hair to hide it!!!

I have used the JF colour. It was ok, it didn't splash. That's as much as I can really say about it.

The colour was much darker than suggested on the box and it faded quickly.

I don't honestly think they are worth the extra money.

I was in Boots yesterday and they are over £10......what????

I wasn't that keen on the nice and easy one - I used it 11/2 weeks ago and my grey is already back with a vengeance.
I found it difficult to 'spread' over my hair and got much better results with the l'oreal 10 minute liquid one.
