TT tickets have arrived so the next dilemma is what to wear. All suggestions much appreciated. I am 5'9, size 8-10, not much corkage, generally found on jeans and a joules top

Hiya

(trying not to show my jealous at you having tt tickets)!! last time i went to see them i was outdoors, standing up for most of the day from queuing through to the actual concert so a definite must is flat shoes or sandals. and the 2ndis to wear something comfy and not something your gonna be pulling up every 5 seconds, maybe even jeans and dressy summery top with flat sandals (even a bit of a wedge so you can see over people, just not too high or your feet will end up aching before the warm up acts come on).

Or if your going dressier then a maxi dress would be perfect, even take a small shrug/cardi for the evening when its gets a bit cooler, and the 1 thing id tell anyone to take is a messenger bag, how can you dance to never forget when your holding your handbag in your hands!! have a fab time.

There are loads of lovely maxi dresses out now in new look and next have tons too xx

Lots of people seem to dress as if they are going to the races from what I've seen.
Good to hear your tickets have arrived mine must be on their way yippeee

Something warm!
Remember you'll be outdoors till very late at night and walking/queuing afterwards and if you're sitting high up it'll get chilly.

hillyhilly · 04/05/2011 13:18

I'm going too!!! Hadn't even thought of what to wear, we'll be having lunch in a lovely restaurant first so I'll need to be fairly smart but I am very nesh about being out at night, just hope I don't end up in a cagoule!!

DuplicitousBitch · 04/05/2011 13:19

i thought you meant tinie tempah and was going to gently point out a joules tops is a no no.

tulpe · 04/05/2011 13:29

went to see them 2 years ago. Am not at all jealous........Hmm!

I wore skinny jeans, converse, a vest top and a navy boatneck jumper and my ever-present cotton scarf. Pretty much the same as everyone else.

Dress in layers which will allow you to cool down or warm up as necessary.

tulpe · 04/05/2011 13:31

oh and take a lightweight rain coat - a cagoule or similar. If it rains you will be grateful and you won't look daft because all the other middle aged women fans will be wearing them too Wink

I usually take a hoodie or cardigan that can be tied round my waist to concerts. It's not the height of fashion but it's practical!

TT?

fustyarse · 04/05/2011 18:42

hmm - if you're going to see them in Glasgow then a pink sparkly cowboy hat, too tight halterneck with hipster jeans (complete with fake-tanned muffin top) and ugg boots/ultra high heels are de rigeur....

don't know if the rest of the UK is quite so classy though
