Next Jeans - another moan!

Bought these jeans www.next.co.uk/shopping/women/womens-jean/9/1?extra=sch&n=women&pid=980-921 back in February and they really are pretty fab - make me look slim and I feel confident in them . The other day I thought I'd better order another pair, before they are discontinued. However, they arrived today and felt a bit tight and uncomfortable round the waistband and I discovered they are about an inch smaller than my first pair Would you order the next size up or order another same size in hoping they will be the same as the much loved first pair?!

Had the same problem last year. Bought some dark denim high waist skinnies in a petite 10. Perfect fit and v pleased with them. Did the same as you and ordered another pair before they sold out. Put them on and they fitted fine in the leg but were so tight on the waist band. Measured them against original pair and waist was much smaller and they were also shorter!! I took them back and didn't bother with a second pair in the end!!

I used to rate their jeans for the post-partum lady. I have bought at least one pair after the birth of each of my DC to carry me over the weight-loss period.

The ones I bought 9 years ago I am still wearing, but the new ones are utter turd.

I gave up with their other clothes years ago. They used to have nice thick cotton school shirts, but they are worse than Asda now. Last one I bought DD lasted one day until the seam up the arm just gave in.

Plus it's never next-day delivery, despite them banging on about it.

Same here...I am always a 14 in their jeans. If anything I have lost weight lately and certainly my others bought a couple of months back fit fine.

their jeans are very hit and miss, there's no continuity... they're one of the few places that do jeans with a 34" inside leg so I get quite a few pairs from them, but on several occasions I've ordered jeans, and decided to get a second pair exactly the same only to find the colour completely different on the second pair. Very frustrating.

I think I will just return them and not go through the bother of trying other pairs! It is really annoying though .

Hate Next. Just hate them. Crap quality and all this faffing around with sizes just makes me feel fat.

Hmm, I've had the opposite problem with Next jeans recently, tight in the leg and ridiculously huge in the waist (compared with previous pairs supposedly in the same size/style). Maybe they've tried to fix that problem and over-compensated :)

I always try on before buying now, you can never assume anything about the fit really...

Tight in the leg and huge in the waist here too. However, their delivery is spot on. Always arrives the next day, without fail, which is why I use them so much.
