Apart from Boden, that is! Just want plain t's in nice bright colours, not mega-clingy (think, tummy) but not shapeless either! Any suggestions pls?

Thanks

M&S

I get my plain t shirts mainly long sleeve ones and sleevless too from primark , they do stretchy ones with a little lycra and also just cotton jersey .
Fabulous prices and pretty good colours .

Mine have washed well but i do have quite a few so they don't get washed constantly week in week out , which probably helps !

Alternatively much better quality and more expensive ( relatively )are unqlo or marks & sparks.

I have some Ok ones from Dorothy Perkins. Just plain cotton, but fitted, soft, stretchy and cheap. I find M&S ones a bit short (and I'm only 5ft1). Gap ones are Ok but don't wash that well.

I like M&S Limited Collection ones but they don't do many colours, unfortunately. They wash well and hold their shape really well. They vary between short, three quarter or long sleeved and are around 12 pounds each.

Uniqlo t-shirts are great value and quite long in the body unlike many.

Another vote for Uniqlo. Very very good quality at a reasonable price.

Uniqlo or H&M

How about these Land's End ones here. Quality is good and have just bought some T-shirts for DH for £5 from the Land's End canvas bit.

Dorothy Perkins usually have a good selection of basic t-shirts and vest tops in multiple colours, and they often have special offers if you buy 2 or 3. Only problem I have with them is they tend to be very long - I'm not a fan of super-short midriff-baring tops, but nor do I want them coming right down almost to mid-thigh. I am quite short though, so they're probably good if you're taller :)

Gap might be good as well, though often very thin fabric.
