im not a hat person, in fact 99.9% of hats look awful on me, i just cnt carry it off.
I tried this on last week and both my friend and dd said it looked nice.

I would like something to wear on holidy for wandering round or having a drink in the sun.

What do ou think?

Yes I like it too. I imagine that with jeans rolled up and sloppy t-shirt. Sloppy makes it sound horrible but I mean not fitted and not your other half's!

For myself I prefer a wider brim but I do love hats and wear them all the time.

Go for it. I too hate hats and they look awful on me, but last weekend I picked up a very similar one, that's actually a man's panama, in M and S (ideal because I have a big head). Here:

DH and DS think it looks good and so this summer I may actually wear a hat on holiday at least some of the time - thus doing my skin a favour.

I got a 'paper' sunhat from Accessorize 3 years ago and it is still going strong even after falling in the paddling pool a few times.
