Nursing bras- I have questions!

Well my milk came in last night.
I'm not sure the nursing bras from last time as quite right but then again nursing boobs and bras are rather different to normal so thought I'd ask you lovely laces for advice.

How should it fit? How do I tell if it's right/ not?
Where did you get yours? I want attractive and functional. NOT yards of thick ugly elastic and a neck line that finished under my chin!

TIA ;)

both times I've bought bravado soft bras for the early weeks (they have a bit of 'give' for ever changing boob sizes).

Last time I graduated to Anita underwired nursing bras (I never found a soft cup bra that would support ginormous G cup boobs - I was genuinely uncomfortable with the weight of them in a soft cup bra).

this time I'll probably get another Anita one (old ones are a bit worse for wear, and I was fatter last time), but have also heard good things about hot milk bras, despite the fact they're soft cup.

Fit rules are much the same, AFAIK - band should be nice and tight, not all weight on shoulder straps. It's extra important (and even more so with underwires) that no part of your breast tissue is squished by the bra, to avoid blocked ducts etc. Err on the generous side for cup size if in doubt.

I found that any nursing bras in actual shops were huge yards-of-elastic up-under-the-chin jobs, so bought a handful online, as couldn't find many brands like anita, hot milk, bravado and royce in local shops.

Ooh, and congrats on (presumably) new baby!
