How much serum?

Hi everyone! I have recently bought No 7 Protect and Perfect serum but seem to need to use quite a lot each evening. If I don't, it doesn't seem to be enough to cover everywhere! How long would you expect a tube to last you? I was going to try Ester Lauder's Advanced Night Repair but the girl recommended using 3-5 drops and surely that can't be enough? Do you think serums really make enough difference to be worth buying?

Thanks, Tia.

I find Boots P&P lasts a month. But I only target certain areas with it - crows feet, nose to mouth lines and frowny bit between brows.

Ah thank you! That's probably where I'm going wrong ... plastering my whole face and neck in the stuff (blush) Will be a bit more selective in my target areas in future!

I plaster myself in it too, as I find it makeup goes on top of it better than moisturiser. I'd like to know, too, if serums have any proven effect?

Glad it wasn't just me then! The very best (and less expensive) thing to use so that foundation goes on better, and you use much less of it too, is Clarins Instant Smooth! A tub of that lasts me absolutely ages and is brilliant on forehead creases though I use it everywhere :)

Tia.
