Need help finding sandals for dd she is 8 .But is only a size 12 and a d/e width at the most .

she does not want pink .My mums exhausted all the local shops with dd( im laid up atm) so now need online .Even clarks who said oh shes a d/e widthg offered F and said we can always put couple insoles in .Thankfully my mum said i think not

main priorty is comfort and she would like them to be pretty without being pink .Shes a typical so am thinking more charging around than sat looking pretty

if you do buy american then bear in mind their shoe sizes are slightly different to ours

ty dont really want to be paying that kind of price , and dd wants something bit more summery where she des nt need t wear soscks though the mum in me is thinking that would save her toes

Well you'll have to go for something with a velcro strap then, if you want the d fitting but cheaper price it's probably the best way to get it.

Ds is an E fitting, I end up buying him bigger sized shoes just so they fit better width wise (when buying stuff like jelly shoes), or the clarks sandals with velcro fastenings. He wear mostly crocs now where it isn't an issue.

That price is in US$ remember, will be less than that is reality. Though agree they're not terribly sandle like.

My dd is a 12.5 E width, and the best fitting summery footwear we came up with is converse. She wears them without socks and they have lots of lovely summery colours. We did originally get Clarks and Startrite sandals from John Lewis but ended up returning boths pairs due to rubbing issues. John Lewis were fab and swapped them for converse and birkenstocks for the beach.

I have the same problem with my DD, aged 3. Can't find anything narrow enough to fit. We did get these as a stop gap, but obviously no good for running around, prolonged wear. They also have them in various colours/styles too. She likes them and it keeps her happy! (Me less so!)

I don't know how they are width-wise, but Zara have a good range of non-pink summer shoes for girls. Could be worth a shot!

DD (soon 5) has these silver Birkenstocks. Don't know if they are cool enough for an eight-year-old, but they come in two widths, so might be good for your DD?
