Drop in hair style/make-up in central London?

Is there anywhere in central London that you can just pop in to for a hair straighten and have my make up done? I am going to an evening do and travelling a long way - don't want to lurk in the venue toilets desperately trying to tart up.

I have no idea if such a thing even exists, I feel like it must but google is just turning up hair salons and beauty salons in their trillions.

Try Hershesons . I used them just before Christmas at their Top Shop salon. Very quick, very skilled. Would highly recommend.

You could try getting an appointment at one of the MAC/Bobbi Brown/Space NK etc shops or counters to get your make up done. On weekends you usually have to book waaay in advance but during the week you can often get a last minute appointment.

I've booked a slot at Hersheons and may attempt to get a freebie off the make up counters on my way up Oxford Street afterwards - I'm happy to buy a lipstick in return :D

If I fail I will do my make up in the venue but at least I'll know my hair is sorted and that was the bit I was most anxious about so thanks for the tips x
