Good (cheap) highlighter? And great eyeliner?

Highlighter: You know what I mean - makes you look all young and dewy.

Had one in a benefit mini-kit which has run out but I don't think they do full size...anyone got a good one?

Needs to be subtle as I don't wear a lot of slap...

Eyeliner: Great and not too pricy? Not crumbly waxy pencil or pen that runs out after 2 uses?

Hiya

Clinique up-lighter in natural is good. Around 20 quid but lasts ages as a little goes a long way. I have tried lots of eyeliners and thoroughly recommend the rimmel liquid one. Lasts all day, easy to apply and doesn't smudge.

Thanks!

Benefit do a few different highlighters, was it High Beam or GirlmeetsPearl ? Both of these are in the mini kits and full size.

If you are after a kohl eyeliner the GOSH pencils from Superdrug are worth a try, they are really good for cheap makeup, I even prefer it to my MAC powerpoint pencil

try ME ME ME from superdrug. 4.99 for highlighter, i used to be a makeup artist and it was one of the better (cheaper) ones.

Forgot to add its called Beat the blues...sunbeam

Barry M do a great eyeliner

brighthair · 21/04/2011 12:26

ASDA do a copy of that highlighter too

Maybelline do a fab gel eyeliner which comes with brush - I find it even easier, and better than MAC

Eyeliner: Estee Lauder doublewear if you like it a bit smudgy.
Urban Decay 24/7 is MAGNIFICENT - amazing colour range, well pigmented, go on very smoothly, you have a few moments to smudge if you like and then they won't budge.

Re highlighter, check swatches in daylight as you don't want to be glittery.

brighthair · 21/04/2011 12:39

oooh I forgot Urban Decay - I LOVE their flipside colour but I prefer them for under eye, waterline use as I like the gel liner for big flicky lines :-)
