Any quick fix weightloss tips?

Yes, i know weightloss should be slow and steady and 2lb a week business to be sustainable. I am not normally someone who thinks crash diets are a good idea!

I have massively let myself go since having ds2. I am stil about 3/4 of a stone heavier than i was pre pg. But it is all on my tummy. :( I have had people ask when no 3 is due as I am reasonably slim elsewhere. :( I am a size 12 from a pre pg ten. I look fine from the boobs up and from the legs down, but my middle is just awful!

Anyway, it was on my mind, but the back of it so to speak as i rarely go out these days, usually at home with DH and kids, so whislt it bugged me i'll be honest it wasn't a priority.

Anyway, my (childless!) bestest friend has just come back from 3 years of travelling and looks even more fantastic than when she went! She has dropped from a 10 to an 8.

We are going out on saturday night and i am really really looking forward to a proper catch up. i have seen her since she has been back, with the kids but this will be the first chance we have had to catch up and have fun in what feels like forever!

I would really like to feel attractive when we go out, rather than the "frumy friend" i feel like at the minute.Blush

I would really like to see if i can put in a few days hardcore effort in a bid to make my tummy shrink a tad, if at all possible.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Drink lots of water to reduce bloating
Avoid carbs between now and going out

Marking my place for other suggestions :)

Thank you, I thibnk carbs are my weakness and probably the cause of most of my woes- i could live on pasta given the oppurtunity!

no bread or carbs for a few days would have big impact on stomach bloating.. make sure your posture is good as that helps.. good underwear will smooth down lines and I find a few sessions in steam room helps as well..

ps, i apologise for my awful typing! I meant "frumpy friend" and "think" and "opportunity"!

No carbs at all and a pair of spanx are your best bet.

A good haircut, some new makeup, and a new top, if you can afford it, will do more to make you feel fab in a short time than a few days of dieting and exercise. Get your nails done too.

eat only protein and vegetables between now and then. good luck!
