How can black wedges be SOOOOO HARD TO FIND?!

I want some black wedges. Easy hey? Errr, no! Please can someone help me? I want some black, slingback, narrow heel wedges, would really love patent, but dont have to be. I saw a lady in Liverpool wearing some lovely ones, which had a patent and cork heel, but she was a bloody fast walker and I lost her before I could ask her where she'd bought them! I cant wear ridiculousy high heels, including a platform sole I can probably go up to about 4 inches............would really love any help you wise ones could offer .....thank you!

i have these Don't look great in teh picture but are lovely on and really comfy can walk for miles in them.

Patent and cork heel could be Russell & Bromley.
Also my mum got the Artigiano catalogue and they had black wedges.

Thanks all! blossoming will check those out, and scared was in Primark on Sunday, but the only wedges they had were black canvas, quite nice but not in my size.....
