DH has bought me a dress

DH got a bit carried away with the Joules 3 for 2 offer and has bought me this dress

I'm going to look like someone's curtains, aren't I?

Or is it not that bad, and will be absolutely lovely with the right accessories?

I tried a a tunic from Joules in a similar patter recently and it did nothing for me - largely because I am small/short and the pattern and colours were overwhelming. It sounds like you have the height to carry it off. Will look lovely in the summer with some red ballet flats, some red beads and a pair of oversize sunglasses Smile

it won't... because the neck is funny. it's only ever going to look okaaaay, and that will be because it is covered up with cardies etc. just say 'thanks darl, you are a sweetheart' and exchange it for something nice.

I like it too and I thought if it was just above the knee leggings would look great.

p.s. OP - I am not far from that very shop..... Grin unfortunately I too press my nose against the window (and I am not a student with no money!!) Grin. My work colleague got a fabulous jacket from there last year in the sale down from £550 to about £250 - still expensive but it is lovely Envy

Sorry - I don't like it, it is retro upholstery fabric. But you are tall with good legs so you might be able to get away with it. A wide belt could improve it (clutches at straws)
