I am getting married in the summer, to the father of my 3 adorable DDs. We're getting married in a garden and I want DD1 (5), DD2(3) and DD3(2) to be wearing dresses that are more relaxed than the usual ones in BHS, Debenhams etc, but don't want them in jeans and t-shirt!Just want them to be able to run around and play! My dress in vintage style, white with lace and a little bit of sparkle. Colour scheme is white and peach/pink. Any suggestions welcome! Thank You!

Not sure if too formal still though.

Also Trotters have some gorgeous sun dresses in different patterns

chickchickchicken · 17/04/2011 14:24

ooo both those dresses linked are lovely. lovely theme for wedding too

Northernlurker · 17/04/2011 14:30

My dds were bridesmaids at my aunt's wedding which was very informal. They wore cotton dresses from Boden with white cardigans and little tiny posies is this any good? Or this?

Northernlurker · 17/04/2011 14:32

How did Vera Wang get in there? I meant something else but just noticed it's not in in your dds sizes so no good.

FebreezeYourJeans · 17/04/2011 16:30

some scrummy things here

But quite expensive.

FebreezeYourJeans · 17/04/2011 16:32

this offering from M&S would be divine in pink

FebreezeYourJeans · 17/04/2011 16:35

too formal?

blondepinhead · 17/04/2011 21:06

Hi there, this may be way too informal but my DD has this dress in blue. It's surprisingly well made - good thickness cotton fabric, has a double layered skirt and it has a lovely vintage look. You could get some white boleros as cover-ups.

Also, at £15 a pop it's not going to break the bank Wink

blondepinhead · 17/04/2011 21:08

Whoops, of course you would want it in pink. Which is absolutely lovely, I nearly bought that one as well!

mumatron · 17/04/2011 21:16

i was going to link to monsoon but it's alrady been done.

mumatron · 17/04/2011 21:17

tethersegg · 17/04/2011 21:30

This or This would be nice...

too formal?

MerryMarigold · 17/04/2011 21:34

peachy pink This fabric also comes in another dress design, so you could have them in the same fabric but different styles. Not cheap, but you can get good resale on ebay when they're outgrown.

MerryMarigold · 17/04/2011 21:53

this has a vintage feel
maybe too formal?
pink and white
light pink
vintage style peach one

Oops, sorry, lots. Such a nice thing to search for, but have no idea of your taste or budget!!

blondepinhead · 17/04/2011 22:29

Oh dear, this is very addictive.
Adorable, rose print
Peach and gold sundress, a bit skimpy?
Printed sundress, less skimpy
Rose print party dress
White dress with fuschia detail

I have no idea what your budget is and what look you're aiming for, but I hope you get some ideas from what's been posted. It would be lovely if you came back and told us what you'd chosen too, if you would like to. Good luck!

ButterflyLove · 18/04/2011 10:11

Gorgeous choices, my dd (8) has a beautiful dress from there, I'll be heartbroken when it no longer fits.

blondepinhead · 18/04/2011 19:34

Oh a lovely choice, your DDs are going to look gorgeous! I'm also very grateful for the links to ilovegorgeous, but I fear my bank balance won't be...
