Well of course I haven't.

But I was musing with DD this morning and I suggested I might wear my wedding dress to watch the television.
She responded with a Hmm

So, if you were invited, and money was no object, what would you wear?
I think you should stick with the body type you have, although actually as this is fantasy, you can all be blessed with bodies of supermodels if you so desire.

And if you are pregnant, let's have a range of maternity gear, after all, Victoria Beckham might have to choose something along those lines (I do feel for her, invite of the century and v heavily pregnant!, although a lovely DD will no doubt sweeten the pain)

TragicallyHip · 17/04/2011 22:46

UnrequitedSkink · 17/04/2011 22:46

I will be wearing this Grin

mumatron · 17/04/2011 22:51

this dress

these shoes

and this clutch

not that i've thought about it or anything Grin

bristolcities · 17/04/2011 22:55

Bumbags despite you not liking my outfit, I like you. I think we might make a good tag team for Harry. And I won't be to bitter if you win in your far superior pink number.

trixymalixy · 17/04/2011 23:06

this although would prefer a different colour.

Sidge · 17/04/2011 23:11

I shall be wearing this dress with these shoes and this bag.

I will also be 5 foot 10 and a size 6, with peachy clear skin and thick glossy hair.

You girls should consider joining the Wise and Avid thread Wink

Bumbags, I love your p29 valentino, that is perfect wedding wear

Bristolcities, i do like your lanvin, but I'm not so sure how well full length will work at a wedding

Zac posen nice and purple, and I loved that red ruched Giambattista Valli number

I Think that length should be to the knee

Now some of you are not taking this so seriously, tracigallyhip and unrequietedskink for starters

I think I am as yet undecided as to my perfect outfit, I shall decide on the day.
Please please keep them coming

And yes, NorthernLurker, I shall not be taking a large brightly carrier full of crap to entertain smaller people

I loved that little clutch from harrods, the bejewelled item for £3000 odd

Darrell - I read this thread yesterday, and was inspired by your OP where you said about dressing up in a wedding dress as a tribute. I mentioned it to SIL, who is having a wedding day party, and where all the children are dressing up as princes and princesses, and I suggested that we both dress up as brides (both SIL and I are unmarried, and if we did ever gat married neither of us are the type to wear bridal dresses). She thinks it is a great idea and so we are both going to dress up in wedding dresses! We are going to get 'em from Ebay.

Mind you, we on our second bottle of prosecco as we emphatically agreed this, in the cold light of day it does seem a rather silly idea.

Just love the idea of drinking beer in wedding dress, a la Rachel, Monica and Phoebe in Friends.

DarrellRivers · 18/04/2011 09:09

GOML, I am at the very least going to find my wedding dress and try it on Grin

It could be cool in a kitsch type of way, or you could just get loads of Hmm s

I dreamt I was actually going to the royal wedding last night but was going to be late because I couldn't find my outfit. Oh dear. I blame mn and these royal wedding threads!

DarrellRivers · 18/04/2011 19:53
