Mixed Race Hair Care

I have a mixed race boy and am thinking of selling products to care for hair as cannot find any in the UK. Does anyone else have this problem and would you be interested in such products?

IME, there are loads of products available, but having to buy a huge tube/pot/jar of the stuff just to find out that it just doesn't suit/do any good for your Dc's hair is a complete waste of money.

I don't know the answer to your question, but there must surely be a market for it? personally, I've just resumed using the same stuff as I use, though (mixed race) Dd's hair is quite European (very) curly, mine is just European curly.

Thanks for your reply. My little ones hair is more Afro but the products for black hair is too heavy and being a european mum i am trying to suss the best way to manage it.

I know what you mean. I tried Dax and it was too heavy/greasy for Dd. A friend of a friend who is mixed race, used Palmers coconut oil (the one that comes in a pot and generally used as a moisturiser) on my Dd's hair and that was quite good. She rubbed it into her hands and rubbed them through Dd's hair before plaiting it. Worth a try?
I've also used the coconut oil (solid) that you get in the edible coconut milk/solid, can't remember, but my Mum gave me a jar of it that she'd skimmed off when cooking with it. It's lovely!

Loads of products out there for mixed race hair. I live in London though, so appreciate that that may not be the case everywhere.
