here

it is so flattering and, i think, a great school run dress. it also comes in red which they don't show on the site. i actually bought it in red and black because i like it so much.

am a 12 slightly pear shape btw.

Nice dress, though it looks quite short - how tall are you?

FebreezeYourJeans · 15/04/2011 07:56

Too short for me for a sch run dress, and the old bit of rope around the middle would have to go. Other than that it's ...OK, good shape, nice price.

devilsadvocaat · 15/04/2011 07:58

i'm 5ft 8" and it isn't as short as it looks on the model on the site. i'm not sure why they called it a 'short dress' as compared to most dresses and skirts out atm it isn't. i hate my legs and don't wear really short things btw.

I have this one in Black and Sand (??) or khaki or whatever it is. I do like it, but I think maybe I should have sized up. It's tight around my boobs, but would be fine if you're not large chested. Perfect length for me ( I'm 5'5 ), a few inches above the knee. Quite a low V opening at the neck though, so I need to wear a vest. Not the easy throw on dress I was hoping for, but with a nice belt and a bit of thought, I like it.

Celery · 15/04/2011 08:26

It even looks tight around the models chest in those photos.

devilsadvocaat · 15/04/2011 08:26

yes i think it is a good dress for a pear shaped lady.

MANGO RELAXED-FIT SHORT DRESS

ineedagoodsolicitor · 15/04/2011 08:35

It has very limited appeal as it does seem small around the bust region and a high belted wasit like that would be a nightmare for anyone with a medium to large bust.

No doubt great for pear shapes though.

Bumperlicioso · 15/04/2011 08:38

Ah, think I've found it, shirt dress? Probably no good for me, usually pear shaped but have big bfing boobs at the moment. Plus I don't buy things that need ironing!

devilsadvocaat · 15/04/2011 08:39

what is nice is that it isn't to flimsy.
i tried on this www.frenchconnection.com/product/Woman+Collections+Dresses/71CM5/Talias+Tale+Dress.htm in fc and the cut was flattering but the material was so clingy that you could see any little lumps and bumps. nightmare for vpl.

devilsadvocaat · 15/04/2011 08:40

yeah shirt dress. don't buy if big boobed.

OP posts:

cheaper at asos

I thought this was my perfect dress but as others have said - far too tight over boobs (though have got bfing boobs) and the side pockets didn't sit right.
