Lumps on top of foot!

Have worn flip flops for the first time today. DD's charming friend said " ooh, what are those lumps on your feet ?" I thought they were not very noticeable but clearly not !! I have one on the top of each foot, about half way between my ankle and toes. They are painless, look like raised , dry, red lumps. Any ideas/ cures. Thank you .

Is it very hard and fixed in one place? If it is it's probably bone that's been layed down due friction in the joints.

If it's slightly soft and you can move it under the skin a little bit it's soft tissue damage caused by tendons pressing against shoes as you walk or maybe a ganglion.

It's worth checking with your gp or nhs podiatrist to get a definitive diagnosis.

I have this- I thought it was psoriasis...

I think op is talking about a singular lesion not multiple lesions as with psoriasis.

I have them and just assumed it was from kneeling down loads with the kids and doing house work type jobs. I think the lump is just normal bone, but the pressure from kneeeling makes them dry/red/rough/unsightly. Could be wrong though!
