Are Clarks shoes good for fat hurty feet?

I fed up of my feet hurting in heels. I love wearing heels but I have fat, wide, flat feet and most of my heels are excruciating somewhere- usually my big toe ?knuckle?, little toe or around the front of the shoe.

I don?t wear heels often but when I do I need more comfort.

Can anyone tell me if Clarks are any good? I have found a pair of wedges that I think would look good with trousers (). I have memories of them being just too sensible as a child but I am willing to give them a go!!

Have you tried M&S Insolia shoes? I've just bought some sky high sandals that are very comfy, and my poor feet play up in Hush Puppies.

Thank you Higgle, I haven't tried them. I am going to have a look online. I really hope they might be a good option for my poor feet!

Clarks are on the small side, and narrow. I have very narrow feet and even I find I have to buy half a size bigger in clarks.

Agree Clarks are on the neat side but I find them the comfiest shoes around, if you are selective they def neednt be frumpy either. Ive just bought gorgeous gladiators that are in Red magazine and Marie CLaire this month they are so comfy!

Agree - I tend to go up half a size to a 4 1/2 in Clarks. However, have flats, heels and wedges from there and all are very comfy.

If you look online, some styles are available in wider fit
