Can anybody recommend anything?

Mustn't be greasy, very expensive, very perfumed.

Must work because I'm sick of buying products that just don't.

Please help, my hands are getting me down.

Body Shop Hemp one is great - though it does have an interesting smell, quite unisex, though.

KateMush · 12/04/2011 22:16

Have you tried Lotil? It's great for my hands, easily absorbed and really effective. Costs about £3.00 for a tube or you can buy bigger tubs from Boots. Highly recommend.

Pesha · 12/04/2011 22:18

I'd recommend the Body Shop Hemp hand ccream too.

And Soap and Glory is nice too although more perfumed but not too much IMO.

Sparklingblue · 12/04/2011 22:20

Boots no 7 protect and perfect really works and isn't at all greasy

brimfull · 12/04/2011 22:21

yy body shop hemp cream
tis the dog's bollocks of cream cos it actually works

atswimtwolengths · 12/04/2011 22:34

If you can find a chemist that sells Vichy cosmetics, their hand cream is really good. As are their moisturisers and cleansers.

lilolilmanchester · 12/04/2011 22:36

E45 cream, honestly, amazing ane v. reasonable... Boots or pharmacy section of supermarket.

hellamallella · 13/04/2011 08:29

Aveeno is brilliant - no fragrance, quick to absorb and really does make your hands feel and look immediately moisturised - it's taken a good few years trawling before I tried it and its definitely the best.

deemented · 13/04/2011 08:35

I swear by Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 13/04/2011 08:36

Body Shop Hemp, smells very earthy but it's the only thing that really works for me.

Bonkerz · 13/04/2011 08:38

soap and glory hand rescue from boots! fab stuff, i even use it on my very dry skin on my face!

Bucharest · 13/04/2011 08:39

Tisserand essential oil rich is gorgeous and costs about £6. I won't use anything else, it smells divine and is fab fab fab.
I have 4 tubes of the N7 one, but find it really greasy.
Aveeno is also good tbh.

MikeRotch · 13/04/2011 08:40

Why not flexitol the foot cream

Neutrogena here, really works and seemingly lasts for ever

The3Bears · 13/04/2011 08:51

I love bodyshop Hemp handcream not too fond of the smell but i put it on overnight and my hands seem alot softer :)

2madboys · 13/04/2011 09:20

I love Boots Botanics Overnight Hand and Nail cream. Cheap and effective (use it all day, not just overnight!)

mousymouse · 13/04/2011 09:21

weleda skin food. it is greasy but absorbed quickly. makes a real difference to my eczema hands.

BrainThrustMastery · 13/04/2011 10:29

Another Aveeno advocate here Smile

SchrodingersCatFliesToOz · 13/04/2011 12:16

Another for neutrogena (you can get the unscented one, really doesn't smell). SOmetime I get distracted by ladies on here and wander to something else. I am back again to neutrogena.

vez123 · 13/04/2011 13:12

And another vote for neutrogena. It just works and is totally nongreasy. Have used it for years.

twolittlemonkeys · 13/04/2011 13:17

Another vote for the Body Shop Hemp Cream. When my hands are really dry it works a treat, when they're less bad I use Palmers Cocoa Butter hand cream because I love the smell!

moragbellingham · 13/04/2011 17:39

I love Aveeno, now that Kiehl's is out of my price range.
Lasts through washingHmm apparently, no smell and absorbed fast.

LolaLadybird · 13/04/2011 22:02

Another vote for the Body Shop hemp hand cream - definitely the best/most effective hand cream I've used.

bethylou · 13/04/2011 22:05

A lady on my post-natal thread suggested that anti-bac soap would be making the situation worse. We've stopped using it apart from when anti-bac is really needed and our hands are much improved - no more splits or bleeding! Nutrigena twice a day too.
