No, Starlover, because if they'd posted under their own name it would have been expressing an opinion rather than cowardly trouble making. I, for one, don't have a problem with opinions

You're right twirlaround! I've been in there a couple of times over the last few months, getting all sniffy about the finish of the clothes - then I realised that's what my mother did when she came shopping in there with me when I was younger!

iota · 01/11/2005 18:55

cod go and cheer yourself up with a quick PARP on teh what's for dinner htread

MadameMorticiaMills · 01/11/2005 18:58

I bought a pair of knee length shorts from here in the summer, they're the first things i have bought from RI in about 10 years, and I love them.

There seems to be a lot of metallic and studs and really quite nasty looking clothes in there atm.

puff · 01/11/2005 19:00

It is nice to be able to go into shops like RI again and know there will be some things that I can fit into .

Enid · 01/11/2005 19:00

i do want to do the shorts thing

but am now pg so its jeans all the way

SoupDragon · 01/11/2005 19:02

Get some drawstring shorts, Enid. You can look like Tweedledum. Or maybe Tweedledee...

Enid · 01/11/2005 19:03

lol

what right over the bump

stripy tights and ballet shoes

good look

MadameMorticiaMills · 01/11/2005 19:03

Do you think it's o.k. to do the shorts thing with flat boots or do they have to be heeled?

Does anyone remember Chelsea Girl??
I loved that place in my yoof.

SoupDragon · 01/11/2005 19:04

Yep. Right over the bump with a tight fitting top. You'll look delightful.

Didn't Chelsea Girl turn into River Island?
