I think they are grotesque and actually look like my left foot looked like before I had major reconstruction surgery on it. I think I find them offensive.

Vicar, that's a good idea. Those would actually look very nice on my mantelpiece but wearing them, dear god. You would have to boing I think, or possibly a high-stepping trot could work.
