well I am usually vehemently AGAINST maxi dresses, at least the ones with elasticated smocking and teensy spaghetti straps worn by enormous women who look like a galleon in full sail

HOWEVER I saw a gal in a long sleeved v neck floor length dress today with little sandals and she looked very nice

No idea where from though, might have a little search

southeastastra · 10/04/2011 21:08

no you don't - they are awful

FebreezeYourJeans · 10/04/2011 21:11

Maxis are heaven, as long as you are at least 5'7

southeastastra · 10/04/2011 21:15

even then you still look like you're wearing a nightie

TrillianAstra · 10/04/2011 21:19

Are you sayng 5'7 because it rhymes with heaven?

I am at least 5'7, and none of my macis look in the least bit like nighties, because they are not styled like nighties. Not like nbighties I would wear, or like nighties in an old vampire movies where the heroine wears a big white nightie.

FebreezeYourJeans · 10/04/2011 21:21

Not me, I look fantastic Grin Not sure I've worn a nightie since I was about 7 though.

carriedababi · 10/04/2011 21:31

someone up my street is not tall and she looks lovely in them, shes about 5'5
