I'm any were from a 18 on top up to a 22 on my bottom half. I've always had a love for the 50's style of dress. I have fallen in love with this dress but really don't think it will work with my build. Should I try or would I be just kidding myself that it might look good.

Love that. Really pretty.

If you have a waist it will probably look great, and you sound like a pear, so it ought to be v flattering. Given the flared skirt I would go with a smaller size to fit your top half - it needs to be a good fit round the bust to look good and beware of armhole gape Shock

I love that style of dress but have beeeeeg norks and really struggle to get them to fit well without exposing half my bra!

Lovely dress.

May I ask, what is the maximum age for wearing such a dress? I am 39 - is that too old?

malachysmum · 11/04/2011 21:42
