Seche Vite topcoat

There was a thread about this a month or so ago which led me to buy some.

I think I may be applying it wrongly though. It says to get a drip on the end and push it on but it doesn't seem to work like that on me. Have I got a dud bottle?

I was also a tad concerned about the "known in the State of California to cause cancer" warning on it Shock.

I just use it in the same way as an ordinary topcoat. You do need a bit of a drop/bead on the end as it's quite thick but I find I have to spread it with the brush to get it even. Also need to hold my hand horizontal to stop it running towards one end of my nail.

But it does work. I did my nails last saturday and apart from one touch up they've lasted all week. They're starting to look a bit worn todaty but that's pretty good going for me.

Just apply it in the same way you would normal nail varnish - it is the best product ever!

I paint mine on as I would normal polish - not "push". I put it on after the regular colour has dried thoroughly. It works brilliantly, I never get chips, my colour only needs re-doing when it grows out with the nail.

The carcinogenic substances in some nail varnishes are formaldehyde and something beginning with t that I can't remember. California state law is very hot on this stuff. They brand imported Melton Mowbray pork pies with the same warning. That's like, health food where I come from Grin.
