Jeans like Gap Curvy, but longer lasting?

Love the fit of Gap Curvy, they're the only stretch jeans I've ever found that are flattering.

However, they really don't last very well, my porky thighs have worn through a pair in a matter of three months.

So, suggestions please: stretchy or non, boot cut/boyfriend/wide leg preferred, as legs are of the Short and Hefty variety.

I am watching with interest - I have the same problem but haven't yet found the solution...

Leather patches, librarian style, but between the thighs..? Grin

I feel all stretch jeans that have Lycra in them wear through or otherwise lose their shape quite quickly, cheap or expensive. Remember, jeans were supposed to get better and better as they age - I find that Lycra is incompatible with that. My favorite jeans have no elastane (two pairs of 7 For All Mankind Bootcut). It's trickier to find a good fit - I have average thighs and these are loose on the thigh so they might be worth a try - but I love the no sag & no bag. Look for jeans that have 100% cotton.

Another way to produce is stretch jeans is 98% cotton and 2% polyurethane. I find this type of jeans stretches very little but keeps its shape well and is very durable. So you might want to look for this blend. 7FAM does them, others probably too.
