A good face powder ??

I have just bought a lovely tinted moisturiser (the No7 triple protection one) and am looking for a good powder below £15 to wear on top.

I need it to give a nice finish with some coverage but not look too obvious and caked as I have a few fine lines I don't want to emphasise.

It also has to be available on the high street (boots/superdrug etc) as I need it asap.

Thanks in advance ladies Smile

i used transluscent (can't spell it!) loose no7 face powder - it's the only one i really love

When powders are translucent (not sure if I can spell it either lol) does that mean they will suit any skin colour or just pale ones ? I am useless at powders ha ha !!

have no idea just have always used it Grin am fair skinned though

In theory the translucent powders should be err translucent with no discernible colour but in reality high street 'translucent' powders usually have pale pigments- so they will be fine if you are fair skinned.

I wear laura mercier mineral foundation over tinted mosituriser

I'm pale and I use the Corn Silk loose powder - the original version. You can get it from Boots but bizarrely it's usually with the skin creams etc, not the make up. It's in black packaging with gold writing and think it's about £7. It's the only one that makes my skin look half decent.

cornsilk - that's me that is!

I used to use Stila Illuminating Powder, and loved it. Now I'm on a tighter budget, so use Revlon Photofinish pressed powder and I'm really impressed with it.
