Oh didn't see the dress in the shop on sat, but I bought a top in the same fabric and it's lovely. Didn't have a 25% code though. Bummer!

That's the one. Good with jeans and I'm hoping denim skirt too when the sun comes out.

jonicomelately · 05/04/2011 19:07

I think it's a bit 'Sandra Dee' tbh.

Elemental · 06/04/2011 16:12

Just seen this thread - I have just returned this dress (got it yesterday), really didn't suit my hourglass shape unfortunately. Too tight around the middle for me.

i liked the 'blouson' until i saw it was 100% polyester.

DuplicitousBitch · 06/04/2011 16:16

i am all about mango dresses atm, thanks to noddy

DuplicitousBitch · 06/04/2011 16:21

i bet you couldn't hug a tree with attitude in your wallis dress oh no siree

AliSheedy · 06/04/2011 16:22

Ordered it online. Very short (I am tall, though) and flimsy material. Disappointing Sad

AliSheedy · 06/04/2011 16:23

That Mango dress is groge, although wouldnt look good on me. But WTF is a 'conversational print'?

Pinkjenny · 06/04/2011 16:24

I ordered a shift dress from Wallis a couple of weeks ago. Was very cheap looking and wasn't even lined. Rubbish.

Cute dress, but cap sleeves no good for these old bingo wings.

DuplicitousBitch · 06/04/2011 16:25

i love a good conversational print but then i am an urban woman dotcha know

AliSheedy · 06/04/2011 16:27

Sorry, I am not fluent in fashionwankese, Duplicitous Grin

noddyholder · 06/04/2011 16:28

I think a conversational print means you won't get far up the road becasue everyone will be stopping you to chat about teh pattern on your dress. I don't like it looks a bit karen carpenter

DuplicitousBitch · 06/04/2011 16:29

it is pretty crazy looking
i love this one, it is also conversational

noddyholder · 06/04/2011 16:30

That is nicer but quite expensive as there are lots like that in the shops atm.

SarkyLady · 06/04/2011 16:48

I bought that mango one but sent it back.
Very cute pattern (who knew those were apples?) but the fabric was too flimsy and shiny for me. And it made me look like a shapless sack of spuds.

Would be good for skinny minnies IMO

SarkyLady · 06/04/2011 16:50

like the wallis one btw.

MikeRotch · 06/04/2011 17:03

prefer second mango one
first looks like you might have passed around cheesy nibbles at the golf club in 1976

OP posts:
SarkyLady · 06/04/2011 17:12

It was the second Mango one that I was wittering about btw.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 06/04/2011 17:42

That second Mango one is dry clean only - who are they kidding? I like that one but suspect the hip pockets would emphasise my er hips.
