Help please, we have an Aunt's birthday lunch to attend and DD has nothing really suitable and no time to go round the shops (too hectic a social life plus exams). Her wardrobe is full of Topshops finest but none of it says lunch with 80 year old at smart venue. Any ideas gratefully received. DD is 15, size 6/8 5 foot 6 with dark hair and olive skin. My budget is around£100.

My DD loves flowery dresses. To the knee and very respectable for lunch with Aunt. I'm sure you could get something for a lot less that £100 too.

How about the Zara TRF collection?
I know the way they are styled is not to suit an 80 year old and don't think they would be that short on your DD.
I think they are a happy compromise. Pretty cardi and ballet flats for lunch and then your DD can accesorise it how she sees fit another time - scarves etc.?
