Need a party outfit. Should I consider a jumpsuit?

I want to be brave and haul myself out of jeans for a party. I'm looking for a jumpsuit (eek) that I can wear with these. I ordered this which is a perfect colour (more of a navy blue than the picture) and a great fit from the waist down but is too short in the body and just doesn't fit my ample 32F norks. Anyone seen anything similar that might fit the bill?

Not sure the jumpsuit link is working. It's this one in 'solstice'.

i 'think' i like this one. although depends on the type of night out.

From one Mary to another Smile I love jumpsuits. The solstice one is lovely, as is the too blue? one recommended by the fab tethers. They go with heels and flats. I have 3 - all different - and love wearing them Smile

I'm not a fan of jumpsuits as I don't fancy getting completely undressed every time I want to spend a penny. Especially at a party where there will be a fair amont of drinking going on.

Sorry to disappear, DD was hollering. Thanks for the links - though nothing quite 'it' . Like the Dorothy Perkins one - a great shape but the blue is a bit too vivid for me. The Debenhams is a bit too casual. Think I might have trouble as the FC one I ordered is perfect in my imagination but the reality on my figure is far from perfect! I may have to go with my trusty skinny jeans (again!).

What size and height are you OP? The FC one is lovely Smile

maryjane71 · 04/04/2011 22:11

If you feel comfortable wearing skinnies you can certainly pull off a jumpsuit Grin

MaryPoppoff · 04/04/2011 22:22

I'm a size 12 and 5'7. I do feel comfortable wearing skinnies but they are fast becoming my uniform and I'm getting fed up of them. Just fancied something a little bit different. Maryjane, I love the FC one so much that I'm in danger of being blinkered to anything else. How can I lose six a couple of cup sizes in a week so that it will fit? Wink

Pricy

Here

maryjane71 · 05/04/2011 20:09

I'm pretty flat chested so no advice on that front sorry. 'Scuse the pun Grin. But a size 12 5'7'' sounds perfect to me. The FC one actually looks similar to the primark one I bought 3 years ago for £13. For that price I didn't mind too much if I didn't 'get round' to wearing it, but I wear it a lot during the summer. It's also a bit short in the body so the pants aren't so harem-y if that makes sense. And my legs look longer Smile ish.

one thousand times yes to a jumpsuit and heels. Fabuloso.
