Have bought 3 pairs in the last month or so - needed some Spring time shoes to tide me over between boots/tights/socks phase and lovely painted toenails/sandals phase! I just know they are guaranteed to be totally comfy, sizing is usually standard (i.e they will fit!) and virtually all their shoes are leather upper and lining, a must for me.
I believe they have a reputation in some quarters for being sad, naff, old-fashioned shoes but I am a relatively hip 31-year old and I blimmin' love them! Anyone else feel the same? (she says hopefully
