mumatron · 01/04/2011 20:49

Love pink but not sure court shoes work

strappy pink

more pink

cheap & cheerful

peep toe

more

pink and silver

Kbear · 01/04/2011 22:34

I love the Kurt Geiger ones....

I agree the court shoes don't work but the colour does, I think .... but I bow to the judgment of the mn style gurus

and I can't keep a sling back on my feet for love nor money!!!

see, this is why I don't wear frocks... cos shoes baffle me!

NOT silver strappy - ver ver dated.

The Kurt Geiger type hot pink would look amazing. Strappy and hot pink... yes, that's the ticket!

noddyholder · 02/04/2011 11:57

I agree with ifancy silver is dated and will make it look very strictly I would go for another bold colour

ifancyashandy · 02/04/2011 12:00

(and have a light spray tan if you are pale. Bright blue looks amazing on darker skin!)

Kbear · 02/04/2011 13:26

I shall be tanned and gorgeous by June! Decision made on dress and shoes and bag. This wedding lark is a doddle! lol

Which ones are you going for Kbear ?

Fumblina · 02/04/2011 21:16

kbear, I have the red ones you tried on.

They are beautiful beautiful shoes BUT... and you probably won't want to hear this.... you will probably not be able to dance the night away in them. I'm pretty good in heels generally but they really weren't the most comfortable pair I own

Kbear · 02/04/2011 22:07

Going for pink and strappy ones, like the KG ones if I can get them - (don't hate me for saying that I'm going to find a slightly less high heel but I have decrepid knees that cannot cope with high high heels !!) - going to go and try some on at Bluewater/Lakeside next week.

Looky here....

phooey · 02/04/2011 22:31

Sorry, I don't think contrasting bright shoes would be right with this dress. The main feature is the frills, I am a fan of colour blocking and contrasting shoes but IMO the dress is the star here and silver, gold or black delicate heels would be best. Or grey suede perhaps? Will have a wee look and see what I can find...

Kbear · 02/04/2011 22:34

OK - I am still up for advice and ideas! Grey suede sounds nice...

phooey · 02/04/2011 22:47

The Kurt Geiger ones in dark grey would be perfect

Or love these half price too

Bit much maybe

Honestly I think these delicate babies would be best with the dress.

phooey · 02/04/2011 22:57

Omg these

ifancyashandy · 03/04/2011 16:19

That last pair are much too heavy for the dress. I saw the pink KG ones yesterday, they are gorgeous!
