Boob job

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but couldn't find anywhere better so i'm giving it a go! I've always had small boobs but since breastfeeding two hungry babies have now been left with no boobs! they are literally tiny, it's impossible to find a bra that fits and i really hate them. So I am thinking about a boob job, I've always thought I would never have cosmetic surgery but now find myself really thinking it is an option for me. So I was wondering if anyone on here who has had the op could offer any advice on things such as how to find a good surgeon (in London) and the recovery after the op etc. Thanks in advance

I am booked in to have breast enlargement next week (yikes!) i only know one person who has had one so have quizzed her and looked on the internet about recovery etc. My friend had one day in bed and was limited for a couple of weeks on what she could do (lifting up dc's). This won't be a problem for me as DH will be at home for a few weeks after the op anyway.
I have always had small boobs. I have always been an AA cup but since feeding 3 dc's I am no longer AA cup now (literally flat chested!)
It hasn't been an easy decision for me. It has been years of thinking about it but I don't fit underwear anymore and I don't take the dc's swimming. Also, I feel very unfeminine.
I would also be interested to hear from anyone who has had the op already - I know there must be more out there!?

I had mine done after BF my first son and my boobs disappeared.

Make sure the surgeon you see discusses all the pros and cons with you. If the surgeon only discusses the positives find another who will give you all the details.

Recovery time was a day in hospital and then two weeks of being strapped up and not lifting.

Invest in really good bras and try to keep the bra on as long as possible in the first few months.

Also if you can get some bras to sleep in, if you give them all the support in the beginning the longer the stay pert. Gravity will take over sooner or later.

I have had mine for 10 years and have had no issues at all due to be renewed in another 5 years.

Just as an aside I BF my second DS for two years with implants and did not have any problems and very little difference in them now.

Surgeon I used was Mr Naranjan is based out of Chelmsford and Harley Street.

Thanks, good luck for your op next week Redcabbages - must be exciting and scary at same time! Would be interested to hear what you think afterwards if you get a chance.
That's good to hear Croxlea that you still BF as that was one of my concerns just in case i did decide to have any more DC!

my story is pretty much the same as Croxlea except unfortunately my DC2 (born after op) rejected one side when feeding. Whether that was anything to do with the enlargement I will never know but I just expressed from that side and fed from the other. Mine didn't change shape much at all after feeding.

I wouldn't actually recommend my surgeon as I've since found out that he did my implants the lazy way (It's been a while and i can't remember the details now but behind or in front of the breast tissue is the option and mine are in the wrong place, not the right place. It's not a huge deal, just means i have some rippling but only slight and only to the touch, not visual).

I would recommend a lady (whose name has escaped me but I could find if you were interested) who works out of the Nuffield in North London (amongst other places too no doubt). She operates herself but she also teaches breast augmentation surgery.

I would recommend Neil Toft, just google him. His dad was HM The Queen's Physician in Scotland until he retired, by the way!
