Hmm

I wish they were called chuggs

BUT

they do look mighty comfy-are they?

cybbo · 28/03/2011 16:41

Or even cluggs

MrsCampbellBlack · 28/03/2011 16:46

I had some last year and they got very skinky and I don't have stinky feet

MikeRotch · 28/03/2011 16:55

brimfull · 28/03/2011 17:17

OK, having just fallen off my very modestly heeled clogs and really injured my foot (it is black and blue, puffy, needing ice, ibuprofen and a tower of cushions; pain was unbearable for about an hour, now just excruciating) I urge you all: AVOID CLOGS, STAY CLOG-FREE.

tethersend · 28/03/2011 18:21

I ordered some a couple of days ago, so will tell you when they arrive ggirlSmile

olderandwider- what make were they? I always check they come up my foot high enough for that very reason...

Mind you, the worst foot injury I ever had (couldn't walk for 6 weeks) was received courtesy of a pair of flat gladiator sandals, so I'm living dangerously and embracing the clog Wink

fatzak · 28/03/2011 18:24

You want clogs? this is the place to go!!!! Factory shop used to be packed in the early 90s with New Model Army types.

(poor child who gets the Derby clog boot forced upon them)

tethersend · 28/03/2011 18:39

I used to have some of those twenty years ago, fatzak Grin They are nice, but a bit low for me.

tethersend · 28/03/2011 18:39

yy, the derby clog boot is practically abuse.

olderandwider · 28/03/2011 19:09

tethers, the clogs were German and the leather comes up high but is quite soft so allows a certain movement between foot and sole. Anyway the wonky paving stone and clog created the perfect conditions to knacker my poor foot. Hoping for some sympathy and large glass of wine when DH comes home.

brimfull · 28/03/2011 19:34

tethers, I presume you've ordered the high ones??

OP posts:
tethersend · 28/03/2011 19:37

yes, the classic high in tan

brimfull · 28/03/2011 19:48

ooh can't wait to hear how they are?

OP posts:
vanillamum · 28/03/2011 20:00

Fatzak, OMG I visited that factory as goth teen and got my dad to buy me a pair, had totally forgotten about it until you linked. It is sadly about twenty years ago.

brimfull · 28/03/2011 20:00

olderandwider I am ignoring you lalalala

I'm loving the open natural leather sandals as well

OP posts:
tethersend · 28/03/2011 20:02

I hope they're not shit.

Will let you know.

brimfull · 28/03/2011 20:07

yes sizing can be a bit variable on clogs
the uggs were only on half sizes , american sizing I think
have you got any of their sandals?

OP posts:
tethersend · 28/03/2011 21:19

No, not so sure about the sandals, although they have some red ones in the sale for about £25 which I'm thinking about.

I like the classic clog shape more than the sandals, TBH...

Bradsmum · 28/03/2011 21:23

ggirl - go get the Uggs - I have those and they are sooo comfy

brimfull · 28/03/2011 22:12

ooh bradsmum-so not smelly then?
