Has anyone used Estee Lauder Idealist?

I've read some great reviews saying it's good for minimising pores and flakiness (yes I'm still on that quest after my post the other week although have tried some of the suggestions and I think my skin is a bit better) but don't want to splash out without hearing some feedback from 'real' people who've used it.

Yes, I've used it for years. It came out about 5 or so years ago, as a replacement for one of their previous products (I think that was called Fruition - I may be wrong!). I use it before my moisturiser. I think its great. Use it twice a day, and a 30 ml bottle will last 3-4 months. It makes my dry skin much softer and less tight.

You can often get samples of Estee Lauder products from the consultants - just be bold and ask! Their 7 ml sample pot which I have previously had as a free sample, and also as part of a gift when you buy 2 prodcuts, lasts about a month. So plenty of time for you to decide whether you think its worth forking out for.

I've used it, it's quite nice. As my skin is quite oily, I used it instead of cream, not in addition - it's moisturizing enough. Agree that it makes your skin soft and a bit smoother, I didn't notice any dramatic difference though as was promised.

I have used it and recall it making your skin feel velvety Smile.
I tend to swap and change my creams now and then so no longer use it.. BUT I did like it Smile

In my experience, it feels v nice, but exactly the same as putting this on your face, for a fraction of the cost.

They both contain cyclopentasiloxane, iirc.

Yes, it's very nice :) I do notice the difference when I don't use it IYSWIM.

Seriously smartypants - anti-chafing gel?! Dare I risk the embarrassment of buying that or someone finding it in my bathroom cabinet?

Seriously, MissRead!

If you put one each of on the back of your hands, I challenge you to tell the difference!
