I know the dress code is uber smart, but could please point me in the right direction with dress and shoe ideas? I am late 30's, 5ft 7 and size 12-14. I wouldnt want to spend much more than £80 on a dress. Its for a hen do so will be surrounded by lots of glamourous ladies. Thank you

I wouldn't say it was uber smart - a bit wedding guesty. Think Phase Eight with heels.

Agree with morag, have been a few times and it is not uber smart but equally you don't want to turn up in jeans. Nice dress with heels and a nice coat.

A gorgeous 40s inspired tea dress.

Body armour if the news is to be believed Grin

Smart casual - no jeans obviously - but it's not smart smart.
The first time I went, the 3 ladies sat behind us were all wearing sleeveless t-shirts and leggings Shock

Tea dress is what I wore, smart causual.

agree- it's smart but not OTT. First couple of times I went was in my 20s and just wore a cotton skirt and matching top- that was decades ago. Smile

Any spring/summer dress or nice skirt and top/ cropped cardi.

The idea is to look as if you eat there daily- not once in a lifetime.
