Does anyone use La Roche-Posay? Am considering changing from Dermalogica and need help!

I have combination skin and have been using the special cleansing gel and active moist conditioner from dermalogica for about the last 8 years and it has worked a treat on my skin - no more random dryness or breakouts - however my budget is getting squeezed so I'm looking for some alternatives.

Does anyone know what would be good for my skin type?

I'm mid 30's if that makes a difference?!

Thanks

I'm using the moisturiser at the moment.
It's lighter than my usual Youth Code and will be good for summer (I bought 3 for 2 in Boots) and would definitely consider using the other things in the range like the washes etc.
The selection is a bit mind-boggling though!

i think old bonsoir rates it

Which moisturiser are you using Morag?
I agree re: selection - I'm slightly confused as to whether I should go down the Effaclar route or Toleriane? I get the odd (hormonal) spot around my chin but not particular prone to breakouts at any other time. My skin is quite shiny especially around the T-zone. Also suffer from open pores on my cheeks.

I'm using Hydraphase UV with SPF 15. I think it's been updated to the XL now - as I bought them at the end of last summer.

My skin tends towards dryness with a few cyclical breakouts.
I wouldn't say I love it, but I don't have any problems with it at all and it has some SPF in it which Youth code doesn't. It just doesn't excite meGrin YC makes my skin all soft and smooth.

LRP is extremely effective. I use Toleriane on me and Lipikar cleansing milk on my DD's very dry face.

Thanks Morag - I'll rule out the Hydraphase as my skin is rarely dry.

Jojo - what's your skin like?
