Exit - I haven't yet seen any in that size. Just a theoretical 'should I' before I even look.

I probably won't. I'll get some blue or black ones from mataland as normal. humph.

Do matalan still do huge sizes then? Not been there for ages. I am currently wearing M&S stretchy ones which I think hold me in a bit (wishful bloody thinking probably)

happybubblebrain · 26/03/2011 16:38

I think you can wear anything you like at whatever age and size. Does there really have to be rules on this too? If you feel good in it that's all that matters.

RedwingWinter · 26/03/2011 16:39

Boden have some pink cropped jeans in sizes up to a 22. Might not be the shade you are after, but they are bright. I'm not keen on the way they've styled them on their web page though.

mollymole · 26/03/2011 16:42

as long as they fit properly and you feel good to hell with anyone else - try to avoid the black t shirt though if poss.

missmiss · 26/03/2011 16:48

How fat and how old? These are fundamental questions.

ValiumSingleton · 26/03/2011 17:06

I might be chased away for being a bitch but I'm going to say no. It won't flatter you. I think you need to be at least 5.5" and slim whatever that means (at that height no more than size 10/12). Other wise it's going to look like to draught excluders upended.

UnquietDad · 26/03/2011 17:08

I'm tempted to say "yes, but she'd never get them back on again."

withagoat · 26/03/2011 17:08

i ordered the next blue skinnies
i am ALWAYS a 12 in next

these were teeny

KurriKurri · 26/03/2011 17:25

Old and fat is the new young and thin.
I say go for it, purple or red though not pink - you don't want to look like an old fat little girl.

AtYourCervix · 26/03/2011 17:34

old 28 36 but actualy look fairly young (get ID' regularly)

Fat size 18/20

Mother of teenage DDs (they'd find it v embarrasing)

Right. my mission is now to find said jeans.

Depends if the man she's pulling them off objects. Wink

dinkydoos · 26/03/2011 17:50

Hi, just for anyone looking for t shirts that are longish and have decent length arms try American Apparel. I have this store.americanapparel.co.uk/tr456w.html?cid=199 but loads on that sight are good as they do it in crew neck and other fabrics. the one in the link is sort of a bit stretchy but not at all clingy, in a good way!

DonaAna · 26/03/2011 17:50

I saw a horrific pair of pink jeans yesterday on a lady on the street yesterday. It may work on catwalk, but it certainly didn't work on her [shudder].

HalfTermHero · 26/03/2011 18:09

Hell yeah, they will look good. I love coloured denim.

SickOnMyShoulder · 27/03/2011 21:30

not jeans but quite flattering

polyhymnia · 27/03/2011 23:16

SickOn My shoulder - do you have those trousers? If so, how baggy are they. please? Need a large size, but my pet hate is baggy trousers which make my quite slim legs look big.

bigTillyMint · 28/03/2011 07:36

If you live in Peckham, no-one will bat an eyelid at what you wear - pink jeans, uber-tight neon lycra, belly-tops......Wink

SickOnMyShoulder · 28/03/2011 11:53

I don't have them, tried them on in store and they were lovely but was shopping for tops and trying not to get distracted. I'm pear shaped (although currently a size 10-12 hooray!) and they seemed pretty flattering to me
