Has anyone ever had a 'professional' in to sort out their wardrobe?

Thinking of doing this, has anyone tried it?

My friend has had it done and didn't tell me. SHe wore clothes that were too old for her imo.. Too safe. Kind of clichéd french or breton stuff, but it didn't fit so well. I knew she'd had a personal shopper Grin and she admitted it recently.

Sounds like it'll be a good idea, might go for it! It's £80 for 2hrs...

I am going to as I just had my colours done and felt really comfortable with the consultant who did them and she offers this as a service to.

I did it - and I have to say it was good. I got less out of the sorting out the wardrobe at home (they didn't change the kind of thing I chose much) but the shopping trip was brilliant. I tried and bought loads of things that I wouldn't have done before, and wore most of them until they wore out!

At the time, I'd lost weight and had just got a more senior job (oh, those were the days) and so I did need a rethink of what I was wearing.

I am planning to treat myself to this when I get back into the workplace.... I am now too old to find lots of things I like easily in the high street shops. I sometimes do, but I can no longer bank on walking into shops like warehouse/oasis/dorothy perkins. I have in my mind's eye the type of clothes I want but I never actually see them.

I'd love somebody to tell me where to shop (in my budget)
