We're going to a dinner later this month - dress code is "Lounge suit" - I have a red shift dress from Bravissimo (no link - sorry!) would it be OK? God I hate these things!!!

lol - can imagine the look on some folks faces if I did turn up in a velour trackie - it's a sportsman's dinner so maybe could be apt?! I don't go killer heels - unfortunately I would end up breaking my neck in them

I think a lounge suit is just an ordinary suit, as opposed to black tie or anything more fancy. Your dress sounds fine.
