What factors go into choosing the perfect hairstyle?

I've got to write an assignment on factors that go into choosing the perfect hairstyle for a class. It should cover length, style, and color. I've got the following so far:

1. Complexion
2. Eye color
3. Face shape / high forehead etc
4. Lifestyle (active or not)
5. Age

What else can you think of?

hair type/texture!

should be number one if you ask me - no point in fighting your natural hair type.. mine is thick and curly and so that's what i've got to work with.
