Black Fishnets.

Now I am not talking stockings and bloomers look but with a knee length skirt and black heels.

They look kinda sassy and smart for work but i do worry about the tarty view point.

So put on your finest MN judgey pants.

Smart wardrobe essential or nasty throwback?

Seriously - I was putting stuff away and found a pair and thought - ooo havent worn em in ages, but should i resurrect?

Personally I wouldn't. And it depends how old you are, and on your height/size. I wore black fishnets with a knee length black leather skirt when I was 16 and thought I looked very classy . More cheap looking than tarty imo. There are so many modern patterned tights around - John Lewis have a good selection.

Ideally I would make the rest of your outfit quite conservative - so maybe tight fitting polo neck, etc.

Agree it depends on your age - probably wouldn't recommend if you are over 40 unless you look like Elle Macpherson .

I like the, but would agree to keep the rest quite classy/elegant. I quite like them when it's a bit warmer, I don't like opaques in summer, don't have the legs for bare skin and get fed up of trying to find NICE nude tights!

What about nude fishnets?

I love them, they do look great with the right outfit, but wouldn't recommend wearing them for work, not if theres guys around & you want to be taken seriously at least - if you must, agree with Dexter go nude
