Red 'dots'/pimples on upper arms...eeewww but what to do?!

I have just noticed I seem to have some sort of red dots all over the back of my upper arms. They're not like spots, not really raised or whatever, but annoying and visible none the less. Normal exfoliation isn't touching it, and I want rid before the summer!

Any suggestions?!

Could it be Keratosis Pilaris?

NinkyNonker · 21/03/2011 12:58

Yes, that looks a bit like it. Interesting, thanks! Has only appeared since pregnancy too which fits...

I've had this since a teen. Body brushing every day definitely helps.

Sounds like keratosis pilaris. Do not pick (yuck I know, but I had OCD like symptoms and I used to badly)

Eucerin 10 percent urea cream is good

Glycolic treatments also great (paula's choice resurfacer, bravura london do a 15 pct glycolic lotion, not in pregnancy maybe)

Regular exfoliation (L'Oreal Exfotonic/salt scrubs/soluble aspirin in water, though not if you're pregnant)

Sun exposure

Tonnes of moisturiser twice a day

Soap & Glory Flake Away got rid of mine (plus intensive moisturising)

Palmers Skin Smoothing Lotion with AHA & BHA is good for this. It's about 4 quid in boots. The smells not great but it doesn't linger for long & its worth it for the results. I use it every night.
