Decent make up brush

Hi there. Make up brushes are so expensive I really would like some recommendations before I part with my money. I need to buy a new brush to apply powder foundation all over my face, so kind of biggish. Any suggestions?

I love Body Shop brushes. Very soft, great shape and structure, wash really well, half the price of posh ones eg MAC, Bobbi Brown. They do a good flattish foundation brush.

Someone will be along to rec Ruby&Millie in a minute - they are cheaper if you use one of the Boots £5 vouchers but I don't rate them as highly as Body Shop ones.

What powder foundation? Foundation brushes in general you can get cheap good ones- QVC in superdrug are good. For kabuki style ones for mineral makeup i get bare escentuals on ebay.

I use MAC (and I don't like using the little spongy pads that come with them).

The Big Body Shop brush is really good as esp if you check out the promos board - 50% off but only until today Quick,Quick,QUICK!!!!!

I bought some that were recommended by another MNetter from QVC and they are great.Pro silk and Royal&somethingorother.

I have a lot of MAC brushes and thought they were ok untill I tried the Elizabeth Arden ones...amazing. Lovely soft brushes that are about the same price as The Body Shop.
