Inspired by the downgrading from Lancome thread, what cheap(ish) products do you use that are great?

For me - vaseline with rose and almond oil. I use it on lips and, if desparate, as blush (very useful when travelling)
Dr Palmers Cocoa butter. I've now switched to the non-scented version, but have been using it now for about 15 years (man I feel old), and I still think it's the best body moisturiser
Sweet almond oil - as eye make up remover, in a bath if my skin's really dry, on damp skin, sometimes on hair if it's particularly dry. AMAZING

yy to vaseline though the rosy one dries me out, prefer original
Max Factor mascara (not exactly super cheap but much less spenny than top end ones)
vaseline body lotion
waitrose baby bottom butter for OCM

Agree about Palmers cocoa butter - have tried loads over the years including Kiehls very expensive stuff but always come back to Palmers.

Nivea Soft moisturiser - have tred practically everything known to man and always come back to this

  • have been using it for the last couple of months and my skin's looking great ATM

St Ives facial scrub - fantastic, just the right amount of scrubbiness! Makes my skin very smooth and is helping old red spot scars disappear, finally
