I'm basically crap at choosing shoes. I have quite big feet...size seven and they don't look good in anything too elegant. I love wearing strappy wedgs etc in the summer...and boot in the winter...but anythng in between looks bad.

Ballet flats make my feet look massive...and my ankles whilst not canklish...don't look great without a heel but I can't walk far in heels and I walk everywhere!

I need a cool shoe...one that can be worn daily and look good with jeans or trousers..not too big a heel and go with a lot!

Oh and not too expenive! I can't spend more than 100 pounds.

THank you!

Bumping this...I added it at silly O'Clock lsat night!

I want to go and buy some today...need to try shoes on usually. We don't have a massive choice of shoe shops here, got Debenhams, Office and Clarks as well as that other one....bit better than Clarksbut can't remember name.

Help meeeee......I need some good shoes! They're mostly for school run etc...but want to look stylish!

Loafers or brogues or converse?

SeeJaneKick · 16/03/2011 09:47

No Faux.... I don't want flats...I look like a student as it is...I'm 38 and can't be doing with converse any more...did them for years. And I HATe loafers and brogues....I want something feminine.

If you like Converse these are nice and won't make your feet look as long as Converse.

I think anything too flat will make your feet look bigger.

Or there's the Clark's wedge desert boot. Office do a version of it too.

No....I don't like converse Kittens! Lol... I wore them for years as a student etc and I can't quite handl a wedgey trainer. I want a shoe really... The Clarks desert boots look very like my Nans slippes!

thanks for linking though!

pumps? wedges? clogs?

Havingkittens · 16/03/2011 10:08

Haha, I know what you mean about the Clark's wedges. I linked to them because someone else did they other day and there was a lot of enthusiasm. They're not actually my cup of tea either! They had something similar but subtly different last year that I did like but they were a bit more elegant.

Can't believe lack of Fly suggestions. The only shoe with height I can cope with! Have a look at Yedi(?) or the like. Aren't nearly as high to wear and usually good discouts on Amazon. Also not as clumpy looking on.

SeeJaneKick · 16/03/2011 10:38

I like thoe clogs Faux....I wonder if I can find something similar on the high street today.
