Hi, can anyone recommend a good anti-ageing hand cream ? I am 47 and the skin on my face looks fine, not many wrinkles, lines ect, but my hands look like something from Indiana Jones! Ido wash my hands loads in work and am a bit rubbish at applying hand cream regularly ,thanks

I have to use alcohol gel all the time at work so I have cream in my car, dh car, bedroom and at night I pierce a vitamin e capsule and massage the contents in under hand cream.

When I run out of vit e they go dry really quickly.

It's a bit sticky but I don't use cotton gloves I keep on rubbing it in.

If you can afford it, you can have Restylane fillers to plump them up!

Otherwise just a really good hand cream and one in summer that has a high SPF.

I am 45 and had/have the same problem. Having worked through most of the stuff in my husbands pharmacy I can report that the best thing I have tried is Aveeno Moisturising Lotion.

There is a cream and a handcream but the lotion works just as well and not being so thick absorbs really well.

It's supposed to carry on working for ages after you apply it and I have found that I only need to apply it morning and night to get plumped up hands.

You need pure 100% Shea Butter from L'Occitane. Hand creams have at most 20% and the rest is smelly fillers.

Worth every penny - lasts ages.

French women are never wrong on anti-ageing issues IME!

I am a fan of the Clarins hand cream, which also gets excellent reviews online.

I swear by Clarins hand cream which I've used for years. Definitely recommend it. I'm more 'mature' than you, but have no age spots or wrinkly bits on my hands. Of course that may be because I'm very urban - not a gardener so don't expose my hands much to the sun, not down to the hand cream.
