Best Lotion or Potion to Fade Brwon Sun Spots

Help oh wise ones! I have a brown sun spot (or are they called age spots - eeek!) - are there any recommended creams/oils etc to help fade it?

i read a review of serums in the guardian a few weeks back and one of those was recommended for sun spots. I'll try and find the link.
