Hello everyone, there was a thread not long ago where someone posted a blog (I think) which had a review on different types of dry shampoo, does anyone recall that? I thought I had saved it for future reference, but can't find it. I know I am been a bit vague but anyone remember seen anything similar. If not, any recommendation for a good dry shampoo? cheers

I haven´t washed my hair since last Thursday Shock which is the longest stretch since I was a child, I think. I have bee using the Tresemme one which is in a black can with a bright green lid and it works fab.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 09/03/2011 09:13

I remember the thread, 2 of the brands that were recommended were Klorane and Bumble and Bumble - v. different price points though! Tried Klorane, works well.

Cyclebump · 09/03/2011 09:17

I use the Batiste stuff fromBoots because it's cheap, but I've heard good things about the Tresemme ones.

Zondra · 09/03/2011 09:41

Batiste is brilliant & is ridiculously cheap.
It is definitely one of my beauty must-haves now.

monkeysmama · 09/03/2011 10:19

I agree with Zondra. The Batiste brown hair one has made a big difference to my life. I used to have to wash my hair every day but now I can go two, even three days without. It's also thickening so I sometimes use it on my just washed blow dry to give it some volume. I far prefer it to the much more expensive Bumble & Bumble one.

monkeysmama · 09/03/2011 10:20

Oh yes, remember to spray in, leave for a few minutes then rub with a towel to remove excess / stop from looking grey.

Gillybobs · 09/03/2011 10:33

Ive used both Batiste adn Tresemme and like both. Sali Hughes is beauty comunist at the guardian and did a column on dry shampoos a few weeks ago..here

I know the page you mean, I think it was me that linked it. It was on femail so you could try searching on there. Ah here we go that it?

CointreauVersial · 09/03/2011 13:22

Batiste all the way. Especially the brunette version if you want to avoid the grey-powdery-roots look.

sparkle1977 · 09/03/2011 13:52

Another vote for Batiste. Does the brunette version work on blonde hair or is it too dark ?

eaglewings · 09/03/2011 13:56

Toni&Guy is good on light hair, no need to rub it off, gives good volume too.

Use it as I have ME and hair washing means going back to rest for an hour, not good first thing in the morning!

Gingefringe · 09/03/2011 15:37

I've used quite a few and the Klorane one featured in the article is my favourite.

The Batiste for brunettes sounds interesting though! Will try that one next.

bluetortoise · 09/03/2011 21:39

WOOOOOW, thank you all ever so much for your comments and for sharing your experiences with dry shampoos. I really want to try since I have to wash hair everyday because on the second day fringe and front hair looks grease when the rest of the hair is still looking alright Hmm The article I was talking about was exactly the second one TheLemur has provided the link, so thanks for your help. I knew I could count on your fab advices Grin

sparkle1977: Batiste does one for blonde hair too which I swear by!

CointreauVersial · 09/03/2011 22:25

I noticed in Boots this weekend that Batiste does a dark brown, a light brown and a blonde version now. Spoiled for choice!

Anyone here who remembers using Batiste back in the 1970s?? Back then it was regarded as a bit of a scuzzy habit. The can hasn't changed at ALL!
