Right. Please please can I have the collective wisdom of MN fashionistas?? I am rubbish at shopping and have been burying my head in the sand.

Am now 12 weeks post ds' birth and need a new wardrobe. Was ridiculously optimistic during pg about how I would bounce back into my size 8/10 clothes but am firmly sticking in the size 12 (and if honest bordering size 14) zone. I also have a lovely post pg tummy which I am desperate to hide. I'm 5'4" and 65 kg (I think that's around 10 stone).

I am heading back to work in a couple of months and need to have clothes that will be convertable for work. I need to be smart/casual - not suit jackets and prefer trousers. BTW work in plastic surgery so feel extra pressure to look good (yay!)

Oh and of course budget is v limited to add to the fun :) Someone please point me in the right direction Grin

Feeling your pain! Been a 16 since having my 2 Ds and have never managed to shift the weight :(

what about buying a few pairs of wide leg tailored trousers (maube black and charcoal grey), going for quite a long length and teaming them with wedges for a bit of height. This is such a slimming look I find.

I'd team them with blousey type tops which could easily be worn casually with jeans at the weekend, loads of them around just now , Ive just bought this and this and find them both very adaptable.

Im not usually a fan of Next AT ALL but think they have lots of nice reasonably priced tops and trousers at the moment.

Regarding shoes, New look usually have a great selection and they dont cost the earth.

Good luck
